AAGAAZ – The Theatre Group at  DAV Public School Pushpanjali Enclave

At DAV Pushpanjali, we believe in raising our voice againt all odds prevailing in the society , we step forward to make reforms and we are taught to speak our mind.            With these intensions besides the other clubs , theatre club was introduced in the school curriculum . This shaped into a group appropriately named as “ AAGAAZ” . The group includes artists from classes  III to XII .

AAGAAZ has been performing at School , community parks , public areas , interschool at zonal and state levels on topics as poverty, child labour, equality in education, sexual harassment, environmental pollution, value of leadership and this has increased the confidence and enthusisium where they no longer fear the mike , stage or speaking in public . Working in groups develops a sense of responsibility and compatibility among the team inself .

Oral communication , physical expressions , dance forms , playing music , playing music , scripting the formats is all a part of theatre learning . Learning by doing leaves a great impact on the artists and the audience . Theater activities have polished the inter disciplinary skills . Our students have grown sensitive , disciplined and concerned towards community and public welfare . Our shows highlight topics which are otherwise left under cover to make the public aware.
