We at DAVPS- PE believe in promoting festivities and a culture of happiness in the school campus. The life skills taught through a school’s social events and gatherings help in building the character of future generations and dissolving stress. NEP-2020 also promotes the celebration of Indian culture and heritage, and therefore, we specially planned an eventful, stress busting DIWALI MELA for our students. All the parents were specially invited to be a part of the same.

MELA DAY -1: was held on 25.10.2024 (Friday). It was also observed as the 1st BAGLESS DAY (as per CBSE guidelines) and was exclusively for the students. It was a regular working day, but with a difference, students were given an opportunity to visit the varied stalls, play games, and eat healthy snacks.

MELA DAY-2: was held on 26.10.2024 (Saturday) for both Parents & Students. Our students, their parents and members of the community visited and enjoyed purchasing Diwali decoration items, playing educational games fostering competition, buying nutritious snacks, and miscellaneous articles from the mela stalls.

The mela was organized to leverage entrepreneurial spirit and talents of our students, various club students, parents, alumni, and members of the community. All the items sold were eco-friendly and safe for students.
