CYBER SECURITY WORKSHOP

A workshop on Emerging Careers in Cyber Security was organised on 14 July, 2026 for the students of Class XI, XII in the school auditorium. Mr. Navneet Anand from Career Launcher introduced students to the field of cybersecurity through recent incidents and real-world examples. He explained key concepts such as data breaches, malware, ransomware, phishing, cyber fraud, identity theft, and social engineering, while highlighting the importance of responsible online behaviour and cyber awareness.
The session focused on the growing career opportunities in cybersecurity across sectors such as IT, banking, healthcare, government, and defence. Mr. Anand explained that students from all academic streams can pursue careers in this field by developing the required technical and analytical skills. Students should actively develop the four C's of 21st-century learning—Critical Thinking, Creativity, Collaboration, and Communication—to thrive in an ever-evolving world. He also outlined higher education pathways after Class XII, including relevant entrance examinations, undergraduate programmes, certifications, internships, and practical projects. The workshop was highly informative and provided students with valuable insights into the rapidly evolving field of cybersecurity.
